Hi loves ❤
I love Starbucks as much as the next person, but man oh man – my budget does not. I am a HUGE sucker for their Iced Green Tea and could have one each and every day. I have been looking for an alternative for Starbucks, for months and it finally dawned on me. What if I told you there is a way to still have your daily tea consumption WITHOUT spending way too much money at Starbucks?
Ya’ll – Make Your Own Iced Tea
It is so simple, but can save tons of money in a months time. One thing that really helped me get into this habit was to bring in an entire box of tea bags into work. This way, I can’t make the excuse that I don’t have any tea bags and stop at Starbucks. If the tea bags are sitting in my desk waiting for me – I personally can’t justify spending the money.
I am a tea fanatic and have a ton of variety of tea types and brands at my house. Practicing making my own tea at work will help deplete some of my inventory so I can try different types.
So far, I have brought in the following tea bags – and loved the outcome!
- Lipton Green Tea – Purple Acai Blueberry
- Bentley’s Mango Tea
I use a Keurig machine in our office to brew my tea, but you can simply use a microwave to heat up some water. Luckily at work, we have large ice machines, so I can fill up my Starbucks tumbler with crushed ice after I have brewed my tea. A quick and simple way to brew tea at work and save money.
