May Goals

Hi loves❤️

Ya’ll – we are in MAY already. Can you believe it? I certainly cannot. I feel like just yesterday I was putting up the Christmas tree – and here we are. A couple of days ago I showed you how to set up monthly goals for yourself, so I thought it was it was only fair to share my own goals.

For my May Goals, I am focusing on three key areas – Life, Health and Fitness, and My Blog. I choose these areas based on what is going on in my life each month. This month I am really focused on creating routines and habits that will benefit my life. I have different activities that I like to do each day, but at the moment – I may only do them 4 or 5 days out of the week. I am really trying to build consistency.

My Life

Life is starting to slow down here in our household and I couldn’t be happier. We had a whirlwind of craziness the past few months, and I’m so blessed that life is beginning to settle down as the summer months come. This month I am focusing in on a few small goals that can have a big change in my life.

Personal Development

My goal for May is to continue my personal development this month. I made a good start in April by reading “You are a Badass” by Jen Sincero*. I won’t lie that I didn’t read as much as I wanted to last month, but that is something to work on in May.

Morning Routine

Ya’ll, let me tell you. Creating a morning routine is hard as hell. This month, each morning I need to get up at 6:30AM to start my day. I have a list of items I want to get done before I head off to work. I haven’t quite accomplished the list each morning – but I am getting better at getting up earlier to start my day.

Don’t Give Up on Myself

As our life slows down a bit – and I start to enjoy the good weather and summer months – I want to make sure I don’t give up on my goals. I am really needing to take a look at my goals this summer and try to create some balance between accomplishing these goals and relaxing in the summer months.

Health and Fitness

It is incredible to say, that after 10 months, I finally have a handle on my health and fitness. I know what works best for me and I am determined to put my health as a priority in my life.

8 Week Lifting Program

I am three weeks into my 8 week Lifting Program. I started this program to get me back on track in the gym as this program has a strict schedule. It is a completely different way of weight training, and I can’t wait to see the results at the end of 8 weeks.

Bring Lunch Into Work Daily

I chose this goal mainly to save some money on eating out this month – but also, bringing in my lunch helps me eat a little healthier. I have stayed on task with this goal so far this month – and I believe I have this one in the bag!!

Take all Supplements Daily

This month I started taking one new supplement – Collagen Peptides*. I really want to be consistent with taking this supplement so I can see the benefits of this product.

I absolutely love creating content for the blog and everything that comes along with having a blog. It has been such a blessing in my life and I can’t wait to see the places we go.

Plan and Start Writing June Posts

Last month, I planned out all of my May posts – and it was life changing. I want to work up to goal of not only planning my posts, but writing them as well. This will help create more free time in my life so I can focus on other aspects of the blog.

Engage With Followers

I love seeing the support that my blog has on social media through my followers. It takes a lot of time to stay on top of all of the likes, comments, and shares on social – and this is something I want to improve. I want to spend my time more wisely on social media to fully engage with the followers I have.

Much love,
