DIY Homemade Brownie Mix
Hi loves❤️
I am about to blow you away with this quick and simple recipe to keep your pantry stocked up on brownies for life. I am a sucker for DIY’s that save loads of money. I recently stumbled upon a Facebook post that explained how you can make your own brownie mix. When you think about it, brownies are one of the simpler baking recipes to recreate. I just never thought of making it on my own. I always find my way to the store and stumble on the MILLION boxes of brownie mix to decide which one I want to make this time.
This brownie mix is fairly simple and only has a few wet ingredients to add in at the time of baking. You can make a large batch of this mix and have some in the pantry whenever you want a yummy gooey brownie. (It’s currently 1:00am and this sounds so delicious right now & I’m wishing I had some on hand).
The Best Part
My favorite thing about this recipe for brownies? It is only 30 cents per mix. A whopping 30 cents to make this. UGH I wish I would have made this sooner. When I mixed up my brownie mix, I stored it in a glass mason jar. This allows me to easily store it until I want to whip up a batch.
Directions
- Combine dry ingredients. Store in cool dry place.
- When desired, combine dry and wet ingredients.
- Bake at 350 degrees for 20 to 25 minutes
Do you have a favorite homemade mix you like to create in bulk batches? I think my next mission is to find a snickerdoodle or chocolate chip cookie recipe to make in bulk. Let me know what you have tried below!!
Much love,
Kate
