As you all know, I have been on a health and fitness journey for the past few years and am always looking to broaden my knowledge. I will be sharing my experience with the book and diet through a series of four posts throughout the next month.

I am excited to share my experience with the Always Eat After 7 PM plan. Why you ask? This plan is the first I’ve seen where it contains a phase to adapt you back to a normal lifestyle in order to get off the diet AND keep the weight off. This plan consists of three phases:

My favorite part of the book currently is the beginning. Joel addresses multiple myths created by modern diet culture. I loved how he shares research and concrete evidence of why these myths are false. After sharing these studies & his own experience, Joel dives right in to the phases and how you can get started. The best part? More than 70 YUMMY (and healthy) recipes included in the book as well. Maple Chicken & Veggies, Stuffed Bell Peppers, & Chocolate Very Cherry Ice Cream.

Even with those delicious recipes, what actually sold me was this:
